Steel Seal is a high quality product formulated to provide a hard surface finish and will stop and prevent rust or corrosion. It has proven to resist all type of acids, fuels, salts and even hydrogen sulfide. Steel Seal has successfully been used in the prevention of salt or brine corrosion in the off and on shore oilfield industry and is presently being used in all types of applications for salt corrosion. This industrial rust coating can be applied as a stand-alone product or used as a base for other coatings. It forms a non-permeable watertight seal over metals and will stop rust or corrosion. It is environmentally safe and non hazardous. No protective equipment is needed to apply Steel Seal. It is a water-based product allowing for easy clean up.

  Application
  1. Mix - No mixing necessary
  2. Thin - Do not thin.
  3. Surface Preparation - Remove all dirt and loose scale from surface. Pressure wash or clean properly before application. Allow surface to dry.
  4. Spray - Airless Sprayer - Use 2000 psi with 517 tip.
  5. Brush – Generously apply with any clean brush.
  6. Roller - Use a long knap roller
  7. Clean Up - Soap and Water
  8. Temperature - Above 45 degrees and rising.
  9. Storage - Do not store in direct sunlight or allow product to freeze.
  10. Flash Point - N/A

After applying first coat STEEL SEAL allow coating to dry (milky when wet clear when dry). After first coating is dry, apply second coating. Apply any decorative paint thereafter second coat is dry.
